ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Build a career that makes a real impact! This is a unique opportunity for motivated individuals, including recent graduates (in a relevant field) and people with transferable skills, to join a dynamic operational team and play a key role in the delivery of forest operations in the south west, contributing directly to an industry that supports Western Australia’s future.

In this position, you will oversee and coordinate work programs across all aspects of harvesting operations in plantations or native forests and all aspects of plantation silviculture operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will work closely with contractors and operational teams and engage with the local community. As an Operations Officer, you will be trained in critical fire protection activities and will be involved in bushfire suppression and prescribed burning activities to help protect FPC’s operations and forest assets.



Working in a dynamic and field-based environment, you will gain practical experience managing operational challenges relating to contractor compliance. In this role you’ll build effective stakeholder relationships and develop practical leadership capability that will support your ongoing career growth.
