Trainer and Assessor – Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care

KCA Education is seeking a contracted, on-site Trainer and Assessor to deliver the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care to international students at our Haymarket, Sydney campus.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Plan training sessions and deliver engaging face-to-face classes.
n
- Mark assessments, assess learner competency and provide constructive feedback.
n
- Provide learner support and mentoring throughout the course.
n
- Conduct work placement visits and liaise with placement providers.
n
- Use LMS and digital systems for training delivery, learner support and record keeping.
n
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
n
- Ensure training delivery meets current industry standards, regulations and organisational requirements.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related field.
n
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)



or an equivalent, recognised training and assessment qualification.
n
- Relevant experience working in an early childhood education setting.
n
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, regulations and industry practices.
n
- Experience in training and supporting adult and international students.
n
- Solid communication, facilitation and classroom management skills.
n
- Good knowledge of LMS systems and digital learning tools.
n
- Ability to conduct work placement visits.
n
- Commitment to maintaining current industry knowledge and professional development.
n

Class Schedule

n

n
- Class 1: Monday & Tuesday
n
- Class 2: Wednesday & Thursday
n
- Both classes are Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
n
- Contracted, on-site position based at Haymarket, Sydney.
n
- Work placement visits are required.
n
