This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced videographer and editor to provide hands-on mentorship in Perth, Australia. The focus is on guiding an aspiring content creator through the process of filming and editing gym-related videos using a Sony A6700 camera. The mentorship will be delivered in office over one or two days, with an emphasis on practical instruction, workflow optimization, and creative techniques tailored to fitness content.
The ideal mentor will be able to break down complex concepts into actionable steps, ensuring the mentee gains confidence in both shooting and post-production.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person mentorship sessions focused on gym videography and editing
- Demonstrate camera setup, lighting, and composition techniques for fitness environments
- Guide the mentee through hands-on filming using the Sony A6700
- Teach effective video editing and color grading workflows suitable for gym content
- Provide feedback and tips for improving video quality and storytelling
- Adapt instruction to the mentee’s learning pace and project goals
