We’re looking for a few enthusiastic and personable summer casuals to join the team at Archers Torquay over the warmer months.

We’re a neighbourhood wine bar with a big love for good wine, good food and good people. We’re looking for people who enjoy hospitality, love chatting to customers and want to learn more about wine along the way.

You’ll be working across the bar and floor, serving wine, cocktails and beer, taking food orders, looking after tables and helping keep the bar running smoothly. Wine knowledge is a bonus, but a willingness to learn is more important.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Providing warm, friendly service to our guests
- Serving wine, cocktails and beer
- Recommending wines and helping guests find something they'll love
- Taking food orders and looking after tables
- Basic food preparation, including snacks, toasties and cheese/charcuterie boards
- Operating the POS and handling payments
- Keeping the bar and venue clean and organised
- Working as part of a team to keep service running smoothly
- Following responsible service of alcohol requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 1+ years hospitality experience
- An interest in food, wine and hospitality
- Friendly, confident and comfortable chatting with customers
- Reliable,



switched on and willing to get stuck in
- Able to work in a busy, rapid-paced environment
- Bar, cocktail or wine experience is a bonus
- Current RSA
- Available for approximately 8–18 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends over summer
