/n : FRONT END DEVELOPER- JAVA /n Key Accountabilities /n • Design, build, install, integrate and maintain software which enables customer end users to interact with complex network technologies and platforms for fixed network provisioning and operations /n • Translate customer (internal, external or regulatory) needs and requirements, using technical principles into reusable API based micro-services, UI components and UI workflows /n • Negotiate and agree on backend API requirements needed to implement required user experience /n • Work with Product Owners and Technical Product Owners to develop business and technology roadmaps /n • Utilise on-premises and cloud technologies to deploy and host applications /n • Accountable for Frontend Codebase, utilising JavaScript (Node/Angular) /n • Use existing code repositories and CICD pipelines to deploy into development and production environments /n • Utilising Agile ceremonies and practices, lead and/or actively participate in planning, design and estimation sessions. /n • Integrate solutions by executing on security and operational requirements /n • Assess capability of third party and open source libraries and tools to meet business requirements and manage software supply chain delivery /n • Assess capability of internal libraries, tools,



APIs and systems to meet business requirements /n • Develop platform-specific technology functionality for business requirements that leverage opportunities from evolving and future technologies /n • Participate in a DevOps and DevSecOps environment and team. /n • Qualifications/Experiences /n • A Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar discipline. /n • Typically, a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience working in an Operational and/or Software Engineering role and have expertise with a variety of deployment, automation, configuration management, testing and optimisation tools. /n • Robust experience in one (or more) of the following technologies: /n o Node /n o Angular /n o React JS /n • Exposure to network automation, Software Defined Networking and NFVi concepts /n • Proven programming experience that conforms to good software engineering design principles and practices (including version management). This includes experience with API integration. /n • Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines. Enhancing and improving CI/CD capabilities to reduce cycle time while retaining quality /n • Experience in delivering projects as part of an agile teamand exposure to DevOps teams, practices and tools /n • Willingness to learn new technologies and keen to drive innovation /n • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and time management skills /n • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills /n • Strong desire to learn and drive skills to expert level in the domain /n • Proactive and self-motivated. /n /n
