We are looking for a friendly, motivated and reliable Full-Time Retail Assistant to join our team at Hip Pocket Workwear & Safety in Warrnambool.

About the role:
As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with finding the right workwear, footwear and safety products for their needs.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Assisting customers with product selection, sizing and fitting
- Operating and processing transactions
- Answering customer enquiries in-store and over the phone
- Restocking and maintaining merchandise displays
- Receiving and organising stock
- Keeping the store clean, tidy and presentable
- Assisting with orders, customer pickups and general store duties
- Working as part of a small, supportive team
About you: We are looking for someone who
- Has a friendly and approachable personality
- Enjoys working with customers
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is reliable, punctual and well presented
- Is confident working both independently and as part of a team
- Has a willingness to learn about our products and industry
- Has previous retail or customer service experience (preferred, but not essential)
- Has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work
Experience in workwear, footwear, safety products or a trade-related environment would be an advantage, but full product training will be provided.
