Full-Time Cleaning Team Leader – Mackay Night Crew

Are you an experienced cleaner or current cleaning business owner looking for your next opportunity?

We’re looking for a Full-Time Team Leader to join our Mackay Night Crew team. This role would suit someone who already has strong experience in commercial cleaning and understands what it takes to run a cleaning team, maintain high standards and keep clients happy.

If you currently operate your own small cleaning business and are looking for a more stable full-time position, this could be a great opportunity to bring your experience into an established cleaning company.

What the role involves:

- Evening work from approx. 4:30pm through to 11pm - 1am
- Monday - Friday ONLY, enjoy your weekends and public holidays!
- Must have car and license

Working alongside our Supervisor, you’ll help keep our Mackay operations running smoothly and support the wider cleaning team.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading and supporting our cleaning team across various sites
- Shadowing and working closely with our Supervisor
- Training and mentoring new team members
- Helping new staff learn site procedures, cleaning standards and expectations
- Assisting with team organisation and daily operations
- Supporting staff when issues arise on site
- Leading by example and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and confident working with people.

You’ll ideally have

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and standards
- The ability to train and support new staff
- Good communication and people skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility
- A strong eye for detail and quality
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Your own reliable vehicle
- Availability Monday to Friday
