We are seeking a fit, reliable and hardworking individual to join our family-run and owned small business.

Our business primarily provides garden maintenance, handyman and property maintenance services to childcare centres, with occasional private residential and other maintenance projects.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to work as part of a team, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. A current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one, is required due to the nature of our work within childcare centres.

Salary will be negotiated based on experience, skills and capabilities.

Daily Responsibilities

Loading and unloading tools and equipment required for each day's work

General garden maintenance, including mowing, whipper snipping, edging, blowing and general clean-up

Assisting with a range of handyman, property maintenance and repair tasks

Working primarily at childcare centres, ensuring work areas are maintained to a safe and professional standard

Assisting with occasional private residential and other maintenance jobs





Working alongside the team to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard

About You

Physically fit and capable of performing manual work

Reliable, punctual and hardworking

Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions

Willing to learn and assist across a range of maintenance tasks

Previous gardening, handyman, construction or maintenance experience is preferred but not essential

Able to work independently as well as part of a small team

Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Blue Card (If you're successful in the position we're happy to reimburse this fee)

Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and maintaining a qualified approach

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
