WA Cutting Services, part of the Southern Steel Group, provides quality precision cutting services, using the latest High Definition Plasma technology.

Excellent opportunities currently exists for a General Hand to join the team at our Hope Valley site. You will be required to assist Operators and Supervisors in order to achieve maximum productivity.

The main duties of this role include:

- To operate cranes and forklifts observing all safety rules and regulations;

- To ensure workplace is always tidy and free from hazards and obstacles;

- To grind, file and ensure materials are kept clean;

- To operate machinery for simple repetitive work under supervision of Operator as required;

- To handle materials whether for offloading, loading, providing feed or packaging; and




- To perform any routine daily maintenance checks and report to the Supervisor any equipment issues.

To be considered for this position applicants must have:

- A Forklift Licence

- Ability to work unsupervised;

- Willing to learn on the job;

- Strong safety conscience
