We are a growing Sydney-based construction and interior fitout company specialising in Gyprock partitions, steel framing, suspended ceilings and commercial fitout projects. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented (Mandarin speaker ) Gyprock Estimator / Junior Construction Estimator to join our team. This position is suitable for someone with experience in Gyprock estimating, construction estimating or interior fitout. We also welcome applications from graduates or students studying Construction Management, Building & Construction, Quantity Surveying or other related fields. The right candidate should be able to understand general construction drawings and assist with quantity take-offs, material calculations and quotation preparation.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Review architectural and construction drawings
n
- Perform quantity take-offs for Gyprock walls, ceilings and partitions
n
- Measure wall and ceiling areas from drawings
n
- Assist with material take-offs and cost calculations
n
- Prepare estimates and quotations for commercial and residential projects
n
- Identify different wall, ceiling and steel framing systems from drawings and specifications
n
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing when required
n
- Assist with tender preparation and project costing
n




- Work closely with the project and construction team
n

About you nn
- Experience in Gyprock estimating, construction estimating, interior fitout or a related construction field
n
- Ability to read and understand general architectural and construction drawings
n
- Basic knowledge of Gyprock systems, steel framing and suspended ceilings
n
- Robust attention to detail and good organisational skills
n
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
n
- Experience with estimating or take-off software is highly regarded but not essential
n
- Background in Construction Management, Building & Construction, Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Engineering
n
- Students or graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply
