Grader Operator – Darwin, NT

$50–$60 per hour | Ongoing Work | Final Trim Experience Essential

Synergie Australia is currently seeking an experienced Grader Operator for ongoing civil construction projects based in Darwin, NT.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking for consistent work with an established civil construction team. We are specifically looking for someone with solid Final Trim grading experience who can confidently work to levels and specifications.

About the Role

You will be operating a grader across a range of civil construction works, assisting with the safe and efficient delivery of projects throughout Darwin and surrounding areas.

Your responsibilities will include

- Operating graders across civil construction projects.
- Completing Final Trim grading to required levels and tolerances.
- Trimming and shaping road formations, pads, batters and subgrades.
- Working from plans, levels and site specifications.
- Completing bulk and detailed earthworks as required.
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic equipment inspections.
- Working closely with supervisors, engineers and other plant operators.
- Maintaining a high standard of accuracy and productivity.
- Following all site safety, environmental and operational procedures.
- Assisting with general civil construction activities when required.

About You





To be considered, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience operating graders in a civil construction environment.
- Proven Final Trim experience – essential.
- Ability to confidently trim to levels and required specifications.
- Experience across roadworks, subdivisions, earthworks or similar civil projects.
- Relevant Grader/Plant Operator competency or ticket.
- Current White Card.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Strong understanding of safe plant operation and site procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a civil construction crew.
- Reliable attitude and strong attention to detail.
- GPS/machine control experience will be highly regarded.
