A fast-paced, customer-focused Australian business is looking for a pragmatic GRC professional to join their team on a day-rate contract.
This is a low-maturity environment, so there's plenty of work to sink your teeth into, including UIRs and general GRC work across the board.
It suits someone who doesn't mind the difficulty that comes with the lower end of maturity, and who has set up automated documentation processes before to help drive that kind of change.
About the role:
- Apply Governance, Risk and Compliance with a practical, commercially-minded approach
- Put the business first and make sensible trade-offs rather than chasing box-ticking
- Handle UIRs and broad GRC responsibilities day to day
- Work primarily within the ISO27001 framework
- Bring a strong interest in cyber security
- Relevant certifications highly regarded
In this role you will:
- Build out the controls library from the ground up
- Work across SCF and SOC 2 Type II frameworks alongside ISO27001
- Get stuck into a fair-sized backlog
- Access AI tools to support the work

- Hybrid role (2-3 days in office vs home)
Contract details:
- Day rate contract starting for the rest of the year.
- Solid likelihood of extension to 15 months (already in approval process).
