A unique opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded Group General Manager – Program Management to help shape the future of our global Product function.

As part of Amotiv’s Lighting, Power and Electrical division, you will play a strategically important role in building the capability, culture and operating discipline needed to deliver BWI’s growth ambitions. Working across global teams, you will lead the successful delivery of strategic programs, business transformation initiatives and new product development projects that create value for our people, customers and business.

With a natural ability to engage and influence you will;

- Partner with the Executive team to develop and deliver strategically aligned initiatives.
- Lead global programs across business transformation, product development, change and manufacturing.
- Establish effective operating models, processes and tools across New Product Development and Product Quality.
- Strengthen governance, reporting and prioritisation through practical project management disciplines.
- Use technology, metrics and data-driven insights to improve and drive decision-making, quality and performance.
- Develop business cases, workplans, status reports and management presentations.
- Identify interdependencies, manage risks and ensure issues are resolved effectively.
- Facilitate workshops and cross-functional forums that build alignment and drive action.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service teams across regions.
- Build robust relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers.
- Lead and develop a growing and committed team as required.

Travel will be a requirement of the role and will see you visit BWI offices, customers,



suppliers and industry events across ANZ, Asia, Europe and North America.

What is your point of difference?

You are a strategic commercial thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and making things happen. You bring successfully demonstrated breadth of experience leading complex strategic programs across global teams, ideally within business transformation, product development, change management or manufacturing.

The must haves

- Strong leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Automotive and/or Manufacturing/Engineering experience is preferred – this is NOT a technology based role
- Experience leading teams through change in a collaborative, transparent and practical way.
- Working knowledge and strong understanding of strategic frameworks, program management methodologies and problem-solving tools.
- Working knowledge of quality and product development processes, including FMEA, APQP and PPAP.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation and multicultural environment.
- Excellent commercial judgement, with the confidence to make decisions, escalate appropriately and maintain momentum.
- Strong analytical, organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and supplier relationships simultaneously.
- A high level of autonomy, initiative and accountability.
- A growth mindset and a practical approach to turning strategy into results.
- Additional language skills would be highly regarded.
