The Sanctuary of Early Learning is growing and we need you! Come and join a leading provider in Early Childhood Education at Frankston Beach Sanctuary of Early Learning!

Frankston Beach is one of five centres under the same providers on the Mornington Peninsula, offering you a more personal approach to your working environment. Frankston Beach is licensed for 120 children per day and has 6 rooms split over 3 levels.

Our Kitchen is in the heart of the centre. The ideal candidate would have a passion for providing good quality, healthy meals and adhere to dietary preferences and allergies. Our Chef also works collaboratively with our Educators to provide meals tailored to the children in our care.

We conduct regular Chef's meetings with our sister centres to allow time for planning, review and support.

Staff wellbeing is paramount to us and is reflected in our wellbeing program.

This program may look a little different at each service, depending on the need of the educators. Some of the wellbeing opportunities at our services include: weekly PT/yoga sessions, 'Wellbeing Wednesday' (lunch provided on Wednesdays), subway and smoothie days, etc.

The program will continue to be developed at Frankston Beach with input from all staff members.

Ideally, candidates should have the following skills and experience:

- Experience working as a cook in an Early Childhood setting.




- Food safety supervisor certificate.
- Current Working with Children's Check and police check (or willing to obtain)
- Current first aid certificates
- Current Mandatory Reporting training
- Child Safety Training (Geccko)
- Experience maintaining a food safety plan
- Budgeting and ordering
- Menu planning

This is a permanent position to be worked over 5 days per week.
