Ourclient a well-established business located in Newcastle is seeking anexperienced and reliable Storeperson/ Forklift Operator to join their team.
This is a hands-onwarehouse role responsible for the productive receipt, storage, handling anddispatch of goods while supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Thisposition would suit someone with strong warehouse experience, excellentattention to detail and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Receive,inspect and accurately store incoming goods
- Pick, pack anddispatch customer orders
- Safely load andunload trucks
- Operateforklifts and warehouse equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- Conduct stockcontrol activities and inventory checks
- Investigate andresolve stock discrepancies
- Assist withmaintaining warehouse organisation and cleanliness
- Liaise withsuppliers, customers and internal departments regarding stock andwarehouse matters
- Completewarehouse documentation accurately and on time
- Follow allworkplace health and safety policies and procedures
Your Profile
- Minimum 3years' experience in a warehouse or storeperson role
- CurrentForklift Licence (LF)
- Strongunderstanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
- Ability toaccurately receive, store and dispatch stock
- Experienceusing warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office programs
- Excellentcommunication and customer service skills
- Ability to workeffectively within a team environment
Ideal candidates will also have:
- Experience withpurchasing or inventory control systems
- Exposure to ERPor warehouse management software
- Previousexperience within industrial, manufacturing, wholesale or distributionenvironments
- Strongattention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
