Winchester Australia is seeking an experienced and technically capable Gunsmith/Armourer to join our team at our Geelong Head Office.

This is a specialist opportunity to play a key role supporting customers, Sales teams and industry partners through high-quality gunsmithing, technical expertise and range support.

Role Responsibilities

- Perform warranty repairs, paid repairs, servicing, testing and other gunsmithing activities to a consistently high standard.
- Provide technical advice and support to Sales and Customer Service, helping deliver timely and practical customer outcomes.
- Maintain the gunsmith workshop and range to ensure a safe, clean, functional and professional environment.
- Provide range testing capability and technical support to Military and Law Enforcement customers.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal teams, brand partners and industry contacts.
- Manage relevant gunsmithing, ballistics and destruction-goods inventory, ensuring accurate stock control and processing.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all work is captured within company systems.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation,



company policies, quality standards and WHS requirements, while contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Undertake International travel to suppliers for technical training and skills development

Key Selection Criteria The successful person will ideally be able to demonstrate:

- Demonstrated experience in gunsmithing, firearm servicing and workshop activities, including the safe use of relevant machinery and equipment.
- Sound knowledge of applicable firearms legislation, trade requirements and Victorian regulations, together with a current and relevant firearms licence.
- Gunsmith / Armourer certification or a relevant equivalent trade qualification, such as Fitter & Turner.
- Previous experience within the firearms, shooting or associated industries.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with good computer literacy including Microsoft Office and business applications.
- A current driver's licence and a strong commitment to WHS, safety and compliance.

Qualifications The Successful Person Will Ideally Be Able To Demonstrate
