As a Hair Stylist, you will take a leadership role within our salon, combining exceptional technical expertise with mentorship responsibilities. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and driving the success of our styling team.

Responsibilities

- Manage your own client bookings and schedule efficiently to maximize productivity and client satisfaction
- Provide exceptional premium hair styling services to a diverse majority female clientele, including cuts, color treatments, styling, and specialized high standard services
- Maintain the highest standards of salon presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety protocols




- Mentor and support junior stylists, offering guidance, training, and constructive feedback to develop their technical skills and professional growth
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products, actively participating in professional development opportunities
- Building lasting relationships that keeps clients repetition services at salon.
- Recommend hair retail products and advise clients on caring for their hair.
- Represent Desi Barbour Toongabbie Professionally, embodying our values and commitment to excellence

What We're looking for

- Must have a minimum of two years of local skilled experience in cutting, coloring, and styling all hair types.
- Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent preferred).
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and inspire junior team members
- Preferred: Experience with color correction, advanced coloring techniques, or specialized treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for client service
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the hair and beauty industry

Pay: $79,000.00 – $89,000.00 per year
