Cancer Council WA's Wellbeing Program provides a range of free, evidence-based therapies designed to support the wellbeing of people affected by cancer. Delivered by dedicated volunteers, the program operates by appointment at our Cancer Support Centre at our Great Southern Hub in Albany.

The centres offer a range of supportive care services and programs that help lessen the impact of cancer within the community while raising awareness of cancer support and prevention throughout regional Western Australia. We're seeking qualified Hand and Foot Massage Therapists to join our volunteer team, to provide approved therapeutic treatments for people accessing support through two locations: Albany Community Hospice and the Wellbeing Centre at Cancer Council WA's Outstanding Southern Hub.

The Role Under the guidance of the Cancer Support Coordinator, you will:





· Comply with Cancer Council WA's Complementary Therapy policies, procedures and professional standards.

· Obtain and maintain informed consent and complete all required client documentation prior to treatment.

· Maintain accurate client records and complete required activity reporting.

· Maintain and respect client wellbeing, rights, privacy, dignity and confidentiality in accordance with organisational policies.
