As a HC Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites. This is a hands-on role operating a crane-equipped truck, requiring safe transport and unloading of building products while providing excellent customer service on site.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering roof trusses, wall frames, and building components to construction sites
- Operating the truck-mounted crane to safely unload products
- Securing loads in accordance with transport regulations
- Conducting pre-start and daily vehicle inspections
- Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating effectively with builders, site supervisors, and dispatch staff
- Maintaining a solid commitment to workplace health and safety
About you
- Current HC (Heavy Combination)
Driver Licence
- Experience operating heavy vehicles
- Ability to safely operate a truck-mounted crane (or willingness to be trained)
- Excellent understanding of load restraint requirements
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
