About the Role

We are recruiting experienced HC and MC drivers for local transport work across Perth Metro. Duties may include metropolitan deliveries, collections and depot-to-depot movements, depending on the client and fleet.

These opportunities suit drivers who enjoy working independently while staying connected with their fleet controllers, customers and depot teams. You’ll bring safe driving habits, sound judgement and the experience to handle a busy transport environment.

pay rates and employment arrangements will be discussed against your experience and the available opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate HC or MC vehicles suited to your license and demonstrated experience.
- Complete local deliveries, collections and scheduled transport movements.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and report faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Check load restraint and ensure freight is transported safely.
- Follow fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, proof of delivery and relevant transport records.
- Communicate clearly with fleet controllers about progress, delays and changing requirements.
- Follow customer and site procedures during loading, unloading and deliveries.
- Maintain a professional approach with customers, colleagues and other road users.
- Keep vehicles and equipment clean, tidy and well cared for.

About You: You’re a capable driver who turns up ready, works safely and takes pride in getting the job done properly.

To be considered, you will need:

- A current HC or MC driver’s license, appropriate to the position.
- Demonstrated recent experience operating the relevant heavy vehicle combinations.
- Confidence maneuvering, reversing and accessing customer sites safely.
- A sound understanding of load restraint,



fatigue management and transport safety.
- Good knowledge of Perth metropolitan roads and the ability to plan suitable heavy vehicle routes.
- Strong communication skills and a reliable, customer-focused attitude.
- Contactable referees who can verify your driving experience and work performance.
- The ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and comply with ongoing workplace testing requirements.
- A current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one, with results meeting the requirements of the relevant client and role.
- Australian work rights.
