$115,000 - $125,000 plus superannuation and KPI bonus potential

Drummond Catering is looking for a Head Chef who loves cooking, takes pride in their team and believes village residents deserve a genuinely good dining experience.

You’ll lead the kitchen at a 300-room village near Kalgoorlie-Boulder. This role calls for more than producing meals at scale. We’re looking for a hospitality-focused leader who delivers variety, flavour and presentation while maintaining solid food safety, cost control, hygiene management and service standards.

What you’ll do

- Lead, train and support the kitchen team through daily service.

- Manage the delivery of breakfast, crib and dinner services that meet our company standards and residents’ needs.

- Maintain HACCP controls, food safety records, kitchen hygiene and safe food handling practices.

- Oversee ordering, stock rotation, waste and food costs without compromising quality.

- Work closely with the Village Manager to respond to resident and client feedback.

- Set clear expectations, coach your team and lead by example during busy services.





What you’ll bring

- At least five years’ experience leading a village kitchen in a Head Chef or equivalent role.

- Proven ability to develop chefs and cooks, manage performance and maintain standards across every swing.

- HACCP training and a current Food Safety Supervisor qualification.

- A genuine passion for cooking and hospitality, with examples of how you’ve improve resident dining experience.

- A current driver’s licence and police check.

- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and LAB DAS requirements.

- Availability to start within the next four weeks or sooner.
