Head Chef – Omakase Restaurant

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at our Omakase restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef with strong experience in Japanese cuisine and Omakase dining to take a leading role in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the kitchen team and daily kitchen operations
- Develop and execute high-quality Omakase menus
- Prepare and present premium Japanese cuisine to a consistently high standard
- Maintain excellent food quality, consistency and presentation
- Select and work with high-quality seasonal ingredients
- Manage food preparation, ordering, stock control and kitchen costs
- Train, mentor and supervise kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and management team
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal changes

About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef / Executive Chef / Senior Sous Chef
- Strong experience in Japanese cuisine and Omakase




- Excellent knife skills and strong knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques
- Experience working with premium seafood and seasonal ingredients
- Strong understanding of sushi, sashimi and traditional Japanese cuisine
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- High attention to detail and strong presentation skills
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Passionate about quality, creativity and delivering exceptional dining experiences
