Lead the kitchen at our new Wildflower Society café in Hurstville.
We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef who can build a strong team, run an organised kitchen and deliver food that customers want to come back for.
You’ll lead the kitchen through opening and beyond: training the team, setting clear standards, managing prep and service, and making sure every dish leaves the pass as it should.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Leading, coaching and rostering the kitchen team
- Running smooth breakfast and lunch services
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency
- Managing ordering, stock, waste and food costs
- Keeping food safety and cleanliness standards high
- Working closely with the venue manager and front of house team
What we’re looking for
You’ve led a busy café or restaurant kitchen and know how to stay calm and organised under pressure. You care about the details, communicate clearly and enjoy developing other chefs and cooks. Experience with all-day dining and high-volume service will be highly regarded.
