About the Role

Capital Veneering is seeking an experienced high-end, detail-focused Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team delivering premium residential cabinetry and architectural joinery. This role is suited to someone with strong trade skills, a sharp eye for detail, and pride in producing precise, clean, high-quality work across both workshop manufacture and on-site residential installation.

Key Responsibilities

· Read and interpret residential plans, drawings, and detailed joinery specifications

· Manufacture custom cabinetry and joinery using hand tools, static machinery, and quality trade practices

· Assemble cabinetry and detailed residential joinery items to a high-end standard

· Install premium hardware, hinges, drawer systems, pull-outs, bins, and detailed finishing components

· Mark out, cut, machine, and assemble joinery components accurately with a strong focus on fit, finish, and detail

· Ensure all residential joinery is complete, detailed, finished, and ready for delivery or installation

· Attend residential sites to install custom cabinetry, wardrobes, vanities, kitchens, laundries, and detailed joinery to a premium standard

· Carry out accurate levelling, scribing, fixing, adjustment, and finishing on-site to ensure a clean, high-end result

· Work professionally in occupied and new residential homes, maintaining care, cleanliness, and respect for the client’s property

· Liaise with the Workshop Manager, Project Manager,



and internal team to confirm project requirements and specifications

- Adhere to WHS requirements and company policies and procedures

- Maintain a clean and tidy work area; secure tools at end of shift

- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment

- Follow checklists, delivery lists, and other QA systems

- Support and train apprentices/trainees as required

About You

· 4 years’ experience as a Qualified Tradesman in cabinet making/joinery, ideally in high-end residential work

· Strong workmanship, pride in quality, and excellent attention to fine detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Reliable, organised, and able to meet production deadlines

- Strong time management and ability to multitask

- Proactive mindset—identifies issues early and supports continuous improvement

- Physically capable of manual handling tasks as required

Qualifications & Licences

- MSF31113 Cert III in Cabinet Making (or equivalent)

- White Card (CPCWHS1001)

- Asbestos Awareness (11084NAT / 10675NAT)

- Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention (10830NAT)

- Class C Driver’s Licence (manual preferred)

· Ability and willingness to attend on-site residential installations as required
