One Harvest is a leading Australian FMCG business with over 25 years’ experience delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient food products nationwide. We are growing and looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operator (VFFS) to join our High Care production team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role operating Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machinery within a quick-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up VFFS bagging machines
- Monitor line performance and adjust settings to meet targets
- Troubleshoot machine faults and minimise downtime
- Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards
- Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating VFFS or similar packaging machinery (highly regarded)
- Background in FMCG or food manufacturing preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physically fit (manual handling up to 10kg)
- Willingness to work in cold conditions (2–4°C, PPE provided)
- Flexible to work weekends when required
- Must be 18+ years
