Job Description
Commencing in early January 2027, we have exciting opportunities for first-timers, experienced winery operators, people from other industries and returnees.
The Weighbridge Operator will be responsible for the efficient and thorough management of grape intake. They will perform Baume testing of grape deliveries and will manage accurate record-keeping and data entry. You will be working in a fast-paced environment.
You will use your social and emotional intelligence and sound communication skills to work with Zilzie team members and to liaise with truck drivers as they are entering the site and waiting to unload deliveries.
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in these roles you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Familiarity working with delivery schedules will be desirable.
- Experience working in a customer service or similar background and dealing with a diverse range of people.
- Familiarity with accurate data entry, attention to detail and sound computer skills.
- You like working in a social team environment, and you have sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- You like to be organised and are great at having multiple things on the go at once
- You can follow instructions, procedures and secure work practices, and you want to get the job done
- Previous experience working as a Weighbridge operator and conducting grape testing is desirable.
- You can work on a rotating roster of Dayand Night Shifts

Zilzie Wines is located approximately a 20-minute drive from Mildura at our Karadoc Winery Site.
