About the Venue:

Quality Suites Pioneer Sands is a well-established accommodation venue located in Towradgi, Wollongong, offering comfortable stays for guests visiting the Wollongong and Illawarra region. With a focus on providing a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment, our Housekeeping team plays an important role in delivering a great guest experience.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our Housekeeping team on a casual basis.

About the Role:

As a casual Housekeeping Staff member, you will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms, apartments, bathrooms, and public areas are cleaned and presented to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail, and understands the importance of cleanliness in creating a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Rooms

- Clean and service guest rooms, apartments, and bathrooms to the required hotel standard
- Make beds, replace linen and towels, and replenish guest amenities
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise all required areas
- Clean kitchens, appliances, balconies, and other areas where applicable
- Check rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, damage, or missing items
- Report maintenance issues and room defects promptly to management
- Ensure rooms are correctly prepared for arrivals and stayover guests

Public Areas

- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, stairways, lifts, reception areas, and other designated public areas
- Clean staff and service areas as required
- Assist with maintaining the presentation of the hotel's exterior and common areas

About You:

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential




- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically capable of carrying out the requirements of a housekeeping role
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
- Friendly and skilled approach to guests and team members
- Availability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week
