About the role

We’re looking for an HR Officer to join our team at our Mansfield Support Office. This is a great opportunity if you’re studying HR, looking to take the next step in your HR career, or already have HR experience and enjoy keeping the day-to-day work running smoothly.

You’ll work closely with the HR team, providing administrative support across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, training and general HR enquiries. You’ll have the opportunity to build your knowledge and take on more responsibility as you grow in the role.

What you’ll be doing

- Coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates and helping prepare recruitment documents
- Preparing onboarding paperwork and helping new team members get started
- Keeping employee records, HR systems and personnel files accurate and up to date
- Responding to routine HR enquiries and referring more complex matters to the HR team
- Assisting with training bookings, inductions and other team activities
- Preparing letters, reports and other HR documents
- Supporting the HR team with general administration and day-to-day projects
- Handling employee information with care and confidentiality

What we’re looking for

- Strong administration and organisational skills,



with good attention to detail
- Explicit, friendly communication and confidence working with a range of people
- The ability to manage competing tasks and follow through on deadlines
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Sound judgement when handling confidential information
- An interest in HR and a willingness to learn

You may be studying HR or a related field, have experience in an administration or people support role, or already work in HR and be ready for your next opportunity. A Human Resources qualification or previous HR experience would be welcome, but neither is essential.
