About the Role

n

As Freight Forwarding Manager, you'll lead day-to-day operations across our freight forwarding division while driving business growth, operational excellence and team development.

n

You will:

n

Lead and mentor the freight forwarding team, building a culture of accountability, customer service and continuous improvement

n

Oversee daily operations across import, export and customs functions

n

Design and implement processes, SOPs and performance measures that drive consistency and efficiency across the function

n

Identify and act on opportunities to boost productivity, service delivery and profitability

n

Strengthen relationships with customers, carriers, overseas agents and suppliers

n

Support business development activity and contribute to growth initiatives

n

Ensure compliance with company policy, industry regulation and customer requirements

n

Monitor operational performance, customer satisfaction and financial outcomes

n

Champion continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption across the business

About You

n

You're an experienced freight forwarding or supply chain professional with a specialisation in domestic mining,



refining and logistics — someone who understands the unique pace and demands of resource-sector supply chains.

n

You'll bring:

n

Extensive experience in freight forwarding, international logistics or supply chain operations, ideally within mining, refining or resources-related industries

n

Previous leadership and people management experience

n

Strong operational knowledge across air freight, sea freight and customs processes

n

A track record of improving processes and driving operational efficiencies

n

Strong commercial acumen and customer relationship management skills

n

The drive to build, motivate and hold teams accountable

n

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you build trust and rapport across all types of stakeholders, from frontline crews to executive customers

n

A genuine go-getter mindset: hands‐on, resourceful, and quick to solve problems rather than wait for direction
