About the role

n

We're hiring a Behaviour Support Practitioner for our Robina office, supporting participants across Coomera, Logan and surrounding regions.

n

This role is suitable for early-career practitioners with roughly 0–3 years' experience (up to ~4 welcome), including Provisional Psychologists undertaking the 4+2 or 5+1 pathways, and allied health graduates from related fields.

Role overview

n

n
- Deliver supports aligned with clients' NDIS and Behaviour Support Plans
n
- Follow safety, privacy and confidentiality protocols
n
- Provide 1:1 or small-group training and skill building
n




- Conduct assessments of behaviours of concern and support needs (including evidence-based behavioural and quality-of-life measures)
n
- Develop and implement behavioural strategies and plans
n
- Comply with NDIS legislation, guidelines and Unify policies
n
- Analyse effectiveness, review progress and adjust plans
n
- Communicate with stakeholders through report writing and meetings
n
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and take part in regular supervision
n

What you'll need

n

n
- A relevant bachelor's (or equivalent) in psychology or a related allied health / therapeutic field (e.g. OT, speech, ABA/behavioural studies, social work)
n
- For psychologists: accredited pathway and current or eligibility for provisional / registered psychologist registration with AHPRA
n
- Valid driver's licence and a car in positive working order
n
- Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
n
- Reliability, passion, and a team-player mindset
n
- Basic software proficiency
n
- Experience writing Behaviour Support Plans, Functional Behaviour Assessments and NDIS reports
n
- Implementing Behaviour Support Plans within the NDS framework
n
