The role

You will be the person who turns a set of plans into a quote a builder can rely on.

- Read architectural plans and window schedules, and work out exactly what is required
- Build quotes in AWS vQuote (V6) — our aluminium supplier’s estimating system
- Get the compliance right: BAL ratings, NatHERS U-value and SHGC, wind pressure codes
- Work with glass suppliers and clients to land on a product that meets the numbers and looks consistent across the whole house
- Once a job is won, order hardware, metal and glass, and produce cutting sheets, production sheets and window detail sheets
- Over time, extend the same work into steel frame and truss, and support the hardware sales team

You do not need window industry experience





We will train you on the software and the product. We have a full written training guide and a supplier who runs formal training.

What we can’t teach quickly is the way you think. We are looking for someone who:

- Is comfortable reading plans and drawings
- Is careful and systematic with numbers — a quoting error costs real money
- Can hold a straightforward conversation with a builder
- Wants to own something rather than just process it

If you have come from building, carpentry, joinery, drafting, quantity surveying, building supplies, or you have run your own trade business and know your way around a set of plans, we want to hear from you.

Why this job is different

We are investing in the tools, not just the headcount. We are actively building AI tooling to take the repetitive work out of estimating — the transcription, the checking, the searching for a compliant glass combination. Our aluminium supplier is developing the same thing. You would be the person shaping how that gets used, not the person it gets done to.

There is somewhere to go. This role touches three businesses. We have a track record of taking positive people into partnership in this group, and we would rather grow someone than keep advertising.

You would live here. Bega, Tathra, Merimbula. Beaches, no commute, and a fifteen-minute drive to work.

- $90,000 – $110,000 + super, depending on experience
