About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified ICT Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing our business and ICT requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing effective technology-based solutions that support the operational requirements and objectives of the business.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Working with management, employees and relevant stakeholders to identify and analyse business and ICT requirements;
- Analysing existing business processes, systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement;
- Gathering, documenting and evaluating business, functional and system requirements;
- Translating business requirements into explicit functional specifications for ICT systems and solutions;
- Identifying, investigating and evaluating ICT system issues, risks and limitations;
- Recommending improvements to existing ICT systems, applications and business processes;
- Developing business and system process models, specifications, diagrams and supporting documentation;
- Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately understood and implemented;
- Assisting with the design, development and implementation of ICT solutions;
- Supporting system testing, including the preparation of test plans,



identification of issues and validation of system functionality against business requirements;
- Monitoring implemented ICT solutions and recommending further improvements where required;
- Preparing reports, technical documentation, user requirements and system specifications;
- Assisting with system implementation, integration and change management activities; and
- Providing ongoing advice to management regarding ICT systems, processes and business requirements.

Qualifications and Experience To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

- A minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems or another closely related ICT discipline;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a directly related occupation;
- Demonstrated experience analysing business requirements and translating them into ICT system requirements and functional specifications;
- Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, system analysis and documentation;
- Strong understanding of ICT systems, applications and business processes;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
