E&I; Technician (FIFO 8/6) | Gold Processing Operation | Immediate Start

Are you an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician looking for a long-term FIFO opportunity with a pathway to permanent employment? We are seeking a motivated and hands-on technician to join a well-established gold processing operation, working day shifts on an 8/6 roster.

This role would suit someone with an E&I; background who enjoys fault finding, calibration, maintenance, and working with instrumentation and process control equipment. While gold industry experience is desirable, candidates from other mining or industrial sectors are encouraged to apply.

The Role

Reporting to the maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:

- Calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems
- Maintaining and servicing pH probes, dissolved oxygen (DO) probes, carbon-related process equipment, watt analysers, and other monitoring devices
- Working with process control and measurement equipment across the plant
- Maintaining software records, downloading data, and ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance documentation
- Supporting preventative and breakdown maintenance activities
- Assisting with pump isolation, connection, and disconnection activities, primarily involving low-voltage equipment
- Following site maintenance procedures and contributing to safe, reliable plant performance

What We're Looking For





- Trade-qualified Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
- Certificate III in Instrumentation highly regarded
- Robust troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Experience with calibration and maintenance of instrumentation equipment
- Exposure to mining, processing, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments
- Gold processing experience beneficial but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn site-specific equipment and systems
- Comfortable working FIFO and adapting to occasional roster changes during shutdown periods
