The business is rebuilding their ERP platform into a contemporary web app from the ground up. Core to the re-platforming succeeding is a solid integration layer, the connective tissue that will bridge legacy product and new web applications, provide shared services across the platform, and enable integrations with third-party software products.

Initial scope of this perm role:

- Design and build the integration layer bridging legacy and new systems
- Define integration patterns for migration, synchronisation, and coexistence
- Build shared services (APIs, messaging, document generation, external integrations)
- Work directly with legacy databases (SQL Server, data sync, ETL patterns)

Your role:

- Design the architecture and make technology calls




- Write code
- Work closely with the CTO, Engineering Manager, and other dev leads

About you

- Strong background in integration, APIs, and event-driven systems
- Hands-on backend engineering experience (.NET / similar)
- Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
- Ability to operate at both architecture and coding level
- Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous, evolving environments
