Phillips Smith Conwell Architects is a practice with a focus on innovative design solutions. From its inception as TR Hall Architect in 1905, PSC has consistently evolved to produce a legacy of prominent and enduring designs.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer with a minimum of 4 years' industry experience to lead and deliver innovative interior design projects across a diverse portfolio. Working closely with Project Directors, Project Leaders, clients, consultants, and authorities, you will play a key role in guiding projects from concept through to completion.

This role is responsible for the timely and successful completion of complex and or large-scale projects through client liaison and team management.

About the Role

As an Interior Designer, you will:

- Develop creative, practical, and client-focused design solutions.
- Lead project delivery, documentation, consultant coordination, and contract administration.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare and review detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a collaborative studio culture.




- Build and maintain strong client and consultant relationships, supporting business development opportunities.

About You

You will have

- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design (or equivalent).
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a skilled interior design role, including project leadership responsibilities.
- Strong design, documentation, and project management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of construction detailing, materials, finishes, joinery, and cabinetry.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.
