As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for collaborating with senior chefs to create dishes that make a lasting impression. What will you do?

- Prepare a range of dishes in a high-volume production setting
- Follow recipes for menu preparation,



ensuring adherence to cooking guidelines and standards
- Execute food preparation tasks, showcasing expertise in food presentation
- Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Ensure HACCP and WHS compliance, displaying a robust commitment to meeting Food Safety standards including conducting temperature and quality checks and effectively managing cross-contamination

More about you

- Previous experience as a Commis Chef is required and proven experience in an a’ la carte restaurant or function service is preferred
- Solid background in kitchen operations
- Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery and a Food Safety certificate, or willing to obtain at onboarding
- A passion for food and creative flair
- Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labor costs
