The Role

This hands-on role owns financial, tax and management reporting across a portfolio of property funds, partnering closely with funds management, asset management, investor relations, lenders and auditors.

Key Responsibilities
n Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

n
n

- Oversight and review of monthly management accounts across a portfolio of property funds, in line with agreed reporting timetables.
n
n
- Manage the annual reporting process, including preparation of financial statements and board papers, and coordination of the external audit.
n
n
- Preparation of unit pricing and investor distribution calculations, and monthly and quarterly investor reporting.
n
n
- Preparation of distribution tax calculations and annual income tax returns.
n
n
- Cash flow forecasting, and monitoring of fund liquidity, treasury administration and debt covenant compliance.
n
n
- Review joint venture financial information and respond to reporting requests from investors, lenders and auditors.

About You

n

- CA or CPA qualified
n
n
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience preparing fund financial statements, distribution tax calculations and income tax returns.
n
n
- Knowledge of complex legal entity structures, with a strong understanding of Australian tax and accounting standards.
n
n
- Advanced Excel & systems skills
n
n
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and comfortable operating in a lean, hands-on team.
n
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across asset management, investor relations and executive teams.
n
