National Freight Services & Logistics is a proudly Australian-owned and operated transport company servicing customers Australia-wide.

We are currently looking for experienced HC and MC Interstate Drivers to join our team, operating across the Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne corridor.

Our interstate operation is based from our Yatala depot in Queensland, but you do not necessarily need to live in Brisbane.

We can accommodate suitable experienced drivers based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and other locations along the East Coast, depending on operational requirements.

The Role

You will be completing interstate work throughout the Brisbane–Sydney–Melbourne network, including:

- Completing allocated interstate runs

- Working to scheduled departure and delivery requirements





- Safely operating company vehicles and trailers

- Tarping and securing loads as required

- Completing vehicle and equipment checks

- Completing required paperwork, checklists and electronic PODs

- Using electronic work diaries and company communication systems

- Communicating regularly with the operations team

- Dealing professionally with customers and depots

- Maintaining a high standard of vehicle and equipment care

- Working independently while keeping operations informed throughout your run

Yard assistance is available where required for tarping and trailer preparation.

We understand that interstate drivers can be based in different locations, so our operation is structured with flexibility in mind. Suitable arrangements may be available for experienced drivers living throughout the East Coast.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for drivers who know interstate transport and take pride in doing the job properly.

You will need

- Current HC or MC licence

- Proven interstate driving experience

- Experience operating combinations relevant to the position

- BFM accreditation, or willingness to obtain it

- Ability to pass company drug and alcohol testing

- Strong understanding of safety, fatigue management and compliance

- Ability to work independently





- Ability to meet scheduled departure and delivery requirements

- Good communication skills

- Ability to complete paperwork and electronic documentation accurately

- Smartphone capable of email, messaging and EWD use

- Reliable transport where required to access your nominated starting location or depot

- Professional attitude and solid work ethic

- Relevant employment references as part of the recruitment process
