Investment Analyst | Industrial Real Estate
Our client is a growing specialist real estate investment manager focused on core-plus and value-add industrial assets across Sydney and Melbourne. Backed by institutional capital partners and led by a highly experienced founding team, they are expanding to support the next stage of growth.
The opportunity
Working directly with the founders, you will own the performance analysis and investor reporting for a portfolio of industrial estates and industrial outdoor storage assets. Your analysis will inform live leasing, capex and business planning decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Update asset financial models with monthly actuals and analyse performance against budget
- Explain material variances and update forecasts for leasing and capex changes
- Prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports with transparent, insightful commentary
- Coordinate inputs from property managers,
accountants and internal colleagues
- Support acquisition analysis, leasing and capex scenarios, budgets and business plans
About you
- Real estate experience is essential, ideally gained in funds management, asset management, investment or property advisory
- Solid practical Excel skills and confidence working with existing financial models
- Sharp attention to detail and a disciplined approach to checking your work
- Transparent written communication and the ability to explain what the numbers mean commercially
- Curious, organised and keen to learn within a small team
