Well established City Council is looking for an experienced IT Business Lead

Hybrid working model | Initial contract until 8th January 2027 + possible extension | up to $65 incl super/hr | Melbourne West

About the role/Skills and Qualifications

- This role is responsible for leading the department's governance, operational planning, reporting, compliance, and business management functions to ensure effective service delivery and organisational accountability.
- The IT Business Lead oversees governance frameworks, audit and risk activities, performance reporting, operational planning cycles, and business administration processes while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
- The position plays a key role in analysing operational and portfolio performance, providing insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support financial management activities, including budget monitoring,



procurement coordination, vendor management, and expenditure tracking.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the IT Business Lead drives the development and enhancement of governance processes, operational procedures, and business documentation to improve consistency, efficiency, and service outcomes.
