We are looking for motivated junior lawyers (1 years PQE minimum) to join our dynamic Strata and Construction team.

This is a genuine opportunity for an engaged junior lawyer who is interested in developing a career in Strata and Construction to learn from some of the most experienced in the business.

The role will include broad involvement across all facets of strata law including strata renewal matters, management issues and strata disputes and the opportunity to traverse front end contract preparation along with back-end dispute litigation gaining valuable knowledge across all areas of construction.

The supervising partner's involvement in the remedial and strata industry with key industry stakeholders will allow opportunity for the successful candidate to be involved at the forefront of reform in the industry sector and expertise in assisting the strata and remedial sector traverse the NSW construction reform.

Furthermore, the role will be required to assist partners and senior lawyers in our Construction/Strata team across all areas of construction and strata law with a focus on:

· preparation of legal advice letters

· research

· building contracts

· preparation and collation of documents and evidence in litigation matters for building defects in strata buildings across various jurisdictions,

· strata disputes and contract disputes,

· assist in strata renewal proceedings in the Land and Environment Court of NSW

· advise on remedial building works under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020

Skills & Experience To be considered for this position,



you will have 1 years PQE and an interest in Strata and Construction. While it is preferred for candidates to possess technical skills from a litigation and/or construction environment, we are happy to train you up and support your development in this field.

The successful candidate will be a team player, have outstanding communication skills, and be willing to work on a variety of tasks.
