Are you an organised and proactive junior Program/Project Scheduler looking to build your career working on complex technology and software development programs? Do you have some experience maintaining project schedules, tracking actions and milestones, and supporting Project or Program Managers?

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your project scheduling and coordination skills while working alongside experienced Program and Project Managers within a large global technology organisation.

You will be working for a global mining equipment and technology OEM within its Underground Mining product development team.

The team develops sophisticated mining technology used to orchestrate and monitor underground mining operations, including technology supporting autonomous mining equipment.

This is a global product development environment, with team members located across Australia, the US and India.

What you'll be doingWorking closely with Program Managers, Project Managers and engineering teams, you will help maintain project schedules and support the effective coordination of software and technology development programs.

- Creating, updating and maintaining program and project schedules.
- Working with Program and Project Managers to ensure activities, milestones and dependencies are accurately reflected in project plans.
- Collecting schedule updates from project team members and updating schedules accordingly.
- Helping identify scheduling conflicts, delays and dependencies and escalating these to the appropriate Program or Project Manager.
- Supporting program and project meetings by preparing schedules, reports and other project information.
- Maintaining action registers, risk registers, scope-change logs and project documentation.
- Tracking project milestones, actions and deliverables.
- Assisting with project workshops, planning sessions and follow-up activities.
- Producing regular schedule updates and reports for Program and Project Managers.
- Working with project teams across Australia,



the US and India to obtain information and keep schedules current.

What we're looking for We are looking for someone at an early stage of their project scheduling or project coordination career who is keen to develop their skills within a sophisticated global product development setting. Ideally, you will have:

- Around 1-3 years' experience in project scheduling, project coordination, PMO support or a similar role.
- Some experience working with project schedules and project planning tools.
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- The confidence to follow up with team members to obtain project and schedule updates.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- An interest in developing your career in project/program scheduling.

Experience within IT, software development, engineering or technology product development would be highly regarded but is not essential. Formal project management or scheduling qualifications such as PMP or PMI-SP are not required for this position.

Location & contract****The role can be based in either the Southern Perth office or Burnie, Tasmania.

This is an office-based position requiring you to work in the office five days per week. Candidates must already be based in Perth or Burnie, or be willing to relocate to one of these locations.

Only Australian/New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents will be considered for this role.

This is an initial 12-month contract position, paid at an hourly rate. There is a strong likelihood of extension or the opportunity to move into a permanent position for strong performers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior scheduler or project coordinator to gain experience working on large, complex global technology programs involving sophisticated underground mining and autonomous equipment technology.
