You'll spend approximately 70% of your time in Occupational Rehabilitation / Case Management and 30% in leadership, supporting workplace injury cases from early intervention through to complex and chronic presentations.

Team Lead - Occupational Rehab Specialist

You'll spend approximately 70% of your time in Occupational Rehabilitation / Case Management and 30% in leadership, supporting workplace injury cases from early intervention through to complex and chronic presentations.

The caseload

n

n
- Manage workplace injury and occupational rehabilitation cases from assessment through to return-to-work
n
- Conduct workplace, functional and vocational assessments on-site with clients
n
- Develop practical strategies addressing physical, psychosocial and workplace barriers
n
- Liaise with workers, employers, insurers, doctors and allied health professionals
n
- Manage reporting, billable hours and service delivery
n

Leadership responsibilities

- Lead,



coach and develop a team of Occupational Rehabilitation Consultants
n
- Conduct regular coaching, check-ins and team meetings
n
- Support quality assurance, performance and professional development
n
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and succession planning
n
- Contribute to improving systems, resources and service delivery
n

n

Skills & experience

n

n
- 4+ years' healthcare experience, including ideally 3+ years in occupational rehabilitation
n
- Relevant Bachelor's degree and professional registration/accreditation
n
- Previous leadership or team management experience
n
- Open to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Nurses and Rehabilitation Counsellors
n
- Strong case management and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Adaptable, supportive and conscientious leadership style
n
- Strong communication and typing skills (45+ WPM)
n
