You will be responsible for actively hunting and winning new industrial customers, challenging incumbent scrap-metal providers and demonstrating why customers should move to NewCo Metal Recycling. You will build NewCo's presence throughout Albury-Wodonga, Shepparton, Riverina, North East Victoria and Southern NSW by calling on manufacturers, engineering businesses, fabricators and industrial sites. You will develop relationships directly with business owners, managers and decision-makers, offer customers competitive scrap pricing and a high level of service, and maintain and grow an existing portfolio of NewCo customers.

Key responsibilities

- Actively hunt and win recent industrial customers
- Challenge incumbent scrap-metal providers and demonstrate why customers should move to NewCo
- Build NewCo's presence throughout Albury-Wodonga, Rivierina, Shepparton, North East Victoria and Southern NSW
- Call on manufacturers, engineering businesses, fabricators, construction businesses and industrial sites
- Develop relationships directly with business owners, managers and decision-makers
- Offer customers competitive scrap pricing and a high level of service
- Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of NewCo's customers




- Regularly visit customers and ensure NewCo remains their preferred scrap-metal provider
- Identify opportunities for additional bins, additional material streams and increased collection frequency
- Work closely with operations to deliver fast and reliable service

NewCo Metal Recycling is expanding into the Albury-Wodonga, North East Victoria and Southern NSW region. We are new to the region, which means there is a significant opportunity for the right salesperson. The local scrap-metal market has been dominated by established operators for many years. We believe there is considerable room for a fresh, customer-focused challenger offering competitive scrap pricing, responsive service and genuine relationships with industrial customers.
