K9 Keepers Kingdom is looking for someone confident around dogs who also has a valuable eye for photography and enjoys documenting the little moments that happen throughout the day.

A big part of the position is helping tell the story of the dogs staying with us — capturing quality photos, sharing behind-the-scenes Instagram Stories, introducing new arrivals and giving our clients a glimpse into their dogs’ stay and our services.

You’ll also work as part of the kennel team, helping with the everyday care and operation of the business.

MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY

You’ll be responsible for

- Taking good-quality photos and short videos of dogs throughout their stay
- Capturing natural moments during play, rest, training sessions and everyday routines
- Posting regular Instagram Stories showing what’s happening behind the scenes
- Introducing dogs arriving for their stay
- Sharing individual dog stories and personalities
- Highlighting regular guests, first-time visitors and special moments
- Making sure different dogs are represented consistently
- Sorting, selecting and organising photos into individual client albums
- Keeping photo library organised

KENNEL & DOG CARE When you’re not behind the camera, you’ll also help with general shift duties including:





- Feeding and preparing meals
- Cleaning crates and boarding areas
- Yard cleaning and general facility upkeep
- Refilling water
- Supervising dogs and playgroups
- Crate and yard rotations
- Helping manage rest periods
- Client drop-offs and pick-ups
- Preparing dogs and belongings for collection
- General cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR The ideal person is:

- Confident around dogs of different breeds, sizes and energy levels
- Comfortable around large and strong dogs
- Naturally observant and good at noticing photo-worthy moments
- Able to take clear, well-composed photos on a phone or camera
- Familiar with Instagram Stories
- Organised with photos and files
- Comfortable speaking with clients
- Proactive and able to see what needs doing without constantly being directed
- Happy cleaning — this is still a hands-on dog-care role
- Reliable and comfortable working independently once trained.

Photography or social media experience is helpful, but attitude, initiative and confidence around dogs are more important. Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
