We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand / Café All-Rounder to join our team.
This is a hands-on role supporting both the kitchen and front of house. You’ll help with food preparation and assembling café items, while also serving customers and helping with general day-to-day café tasks.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads and other café items
- Basic food preparation and kitchen duties
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Serving customers and taking orders
- Using the POS and handling basic payments
- Restocking ingredients and supplies
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Helping with other café tasks as needed
What we’re looking for
- Reliable and punctual
- Willing to learn and get stuck in
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Valuable communication and a positive attitude
- Previous café, kitchen hand or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential
- Food safety knowledge is a plus
This is a casual hospitality role with a mix of kitchen and customer-facing work. Our café has a friendly and relaxed environment, and we’re looking for someone dependable who takes pride in their work and is happy to help wherever needed.
