You will work fulltime alongside our flooring installation teams across building and construction sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area, providing practical support before, during and after installations.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting flooring installers with the preparation of work areas before installation
- Carrying and positioning flooring materials, tools and equipment around building sites
- Preparing rooms and work areas so installers can commence efficiently
- Protecting walls, doors, surfaces and other areas using protective coverings, barriers and other materials
- Assisting with moving and positioning flooring products and equipment throughout a site
- Loading and unloading flooring products, materials, tools and equipment from vehicles
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised throughout the installation process
- Removing rubbish, packaging and installation waste from work areas
- Following site safety requirements and maintaining a safe work environment
- Assisting with deliveries and moving materials to and from building sites
About you
- Reliable, punctual and willing to get stuck in
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and lifting
- Practical and hands-on, with a "can-do" attitude
- Comfortable working on building and construction sites
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Safety-conscious and takes care with other people's property
- Organised and able to keep work areas clean and tidy
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying site conditions
- Professional and respectful when dealing with customers, builders and other trades
- A current driver's licence is essential
