About the role

Precision Landscapes Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Landscape Apprentice to join our growing team in Sydney. This is a full-time apprenticeship position that offers an excellent prospect to develop practical skills and gain recognised qualifications in the landscaping industry. As a Landscape Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals, learning all aspects of landscape design, construction and maintenance whilst contributing to the creation of beautiful outdoor spaces throughout Sydney.

This role is essential to our operations and provides the foundation for a rewarding long-term career in landscaping and gardening services.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with the preparation, oranisation and installation of landscape gardens and hardscaping features
- Learning and performing landscape construction techniques, including planting, soil preparation, and lawn establishment
- Operating and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Supporting the maintenance of existing landscape projects, including pruning, weeding and general garden care
- Safe handling of landscaping materials on job sites
- Following health and safety protocols and best practices on all projects
- Communicating effectively with team members and customers to ensure project success
- Learning about plants, horticulture principles and landscape design concepts under mentorship

What we're looking for

- A passion for gardening, landscaping or horticulture and a genuine interest in learning the trade
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship with in time constraints.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to take direction
- Reliability, punctuality and a qualified attitude towards work
- A current driving license is advantageous




- Willingness to obtain or work towards relevant certifications and qualifications as required by the apprenticeship programme
- No prior experience necessary; we are looking for enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
