Edison Radiology is a comprehensive, radiologist-led diagnostic imaging practice in Mount Waverley. We are building a radiology clinic known for accurate, reliable diagnostics and exceptional patient and referrer experiences.

We are seeking a friendly and organised Radiology Administration Officer who is fluent in both Mandarin and English to join our growing team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

The Role n

As a Radiology Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality support across patient reception, appointment scheduling, referrals, billing and records management.

n

Working closely with the Practice Manager, radiologists, clinical teams and administration colleagues, you will help maintain efficient patient flow while creating a welcoming and respectful experience for every patient.

n

Your ability to communicate confidently in both Mandarin and English will help us provide accessible, patient-centred support to our diverse community.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Welcome patients and visitors warmly, professionally and efficiently
n
- Communicate clearly with patients in both Mandarin and English
n
- Manage appointment bookings, registrations, referrals and appointment changes
n
- Explain examination preparation requirements, arrival times and next steps
n
- Respond to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from patients, referrers and clinical teams
n
- Process Medicare, DVA, TAC, WorkCover and private billing, payments and receipting
n
- Maintain accurate patient records, imaging requests and administrative documentation
n
- Work closely with clinical teams to support smooth patient flow and timely service delivery
n
- Assist with waitlists, cancellations, rescheduling and urgent appointment requests
n
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality and accurate data at all times
n
- Escalate complaints, complex billing matters and workflow concerns appropriately
n




- Support general reception and administration duties as required
n

What We’re Looking For nn
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential
n
- Previous experience in radiology administration, medical reception, healthcare administration or a similar customer-facing role
n
- Experience using patient management, booking, billing or clinical information systems
n
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, compassionate approach
n
- Strong attention to detail and confidence with data entry and record management
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy clinical environment
n
- A professional, reliable and patient-focused manner
n
- A cooperative mindset and willingness to support the wider team
n
- Medical terminology knowledge or training is desirable
n

You will work under the guidance of a supportive and experienced Practice Manager alongside radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nurses and administration professionals.
