This full-time Experienced Farm Hand position at Clear Mountain Fairview in Greenmount, QLD 4359, will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our diverse farm. As an integral member of our close-knit team, you will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our business.

What you'll be doing

n

n
1. Assisting with a wide range of general farm duties, including animal care, crop maintenance, fencing, and equipment operation and maintenance
n
2. Participating in the planting of crops
n
3. Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity procedures
n
4. Collaborating with the farm management team to identify and implement process improvements
n
5. Adhering to all relevant workplace health and safety regulations
n
6. Proactively identifying and addressing any issues that may arise on the farm ie. fences, water troughs, feeders, etc
n

What we're looking for

n

n
1. Proven experience as a farm hand (minimum 2 years) or in a similar agricultural role,



preferably within the livestock or crop industries
n
2. Strong practical skills and the ability to operate farm machinery and equipment
n
3. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and maintenance
n
4. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
n
5. A valid driver's licence and the willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
n
6. A passion for sustainable agriculture and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our farming operations
n
7. Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
n
8. Australian citizenship is required for this position
